Summer 2010

~Summer 2010~

Marco and I at a Music Video Shoot.

Thank you everyone for your sweet comments! I actually only now saw them and it really encouraged my heart! Thank you seriously everyone that takes time out of your busy day to read our blog and pray for us! Your relationships mean so much to Marco and I! Truly :-) Also, we had such a great trip back to Vegas a couple of weeks ago! It was so wonderful seeing all of our friends and family! Thank you everyone for coming out to see us and going to our show! It was so fun!

Well.... this summer is truly going to be amazing! It already has been! We went to Vegas the end of May, came back the first week of June and hopped right into Thunder Conference 2010! lol It was totally crazy and amazing at the same time!! God totally rocked us and the whole Conference! Someone told me the other day, "I am so tired of using the phrase being busy! From now on instead of prophesying ME being busy by saying it all the time, I am saying I am being fruitful"!!! AND that is what Marco and I are! LOL We are being fruitful!!!! So that is how our summer started off almost two weeks ago and a week from today we will be hosting Thunder Camp 2010! It is our teenage version of Thunder School. It was so outrageous last year! Kids came wanting to commit suicide to not even having a relationship to getting set free and totally fired up for the Lord! It was incredible! This year we will have over 20 teenagers! I can not wait! They will activated in their creative giftings with music and drama, and also mentored by our staff and interns! I really feel like God is going to encounter these kids with his Father's heart! Please start praying now that these kids will leave totally transformed!!!!

So after Thunder Camp 2010's amazingness is over..... we leave for Rolling Thunder Tour 2010 across the northwest, visiting and ministering on Native American reservations. HAHA! It will be July 5th-25th! So here is a little bit of details about Rolling Thunder from last year and what we are expecting this year.....

Last year the team Marco and I help lead was from our ministry were on staff at, Provision International, and included about 40 people – musicians, artists, evangelists, who of course are all of our amazing interns, and also mothers and fathers of the faith. So we went launched out from the inner city of Nashville, Tennessee on our journey to restore the brokenness, repent, and share Jesus with Native American people across the northwest. Even today, the reservations are just as poverty stricken as third world countries – the average person only making $2,000 a YEAR to feed a FAMILY – children don’t have beds, and 75%, or more of the tribes, are alcoholics which means that most of the money made feeds the addictions. When on the reservations, you feel like you are in a 3rd world country! It looks like the slums of Mexico seriously on our own land! It was heart wrenching! The suicide rate is through the roof and the average Native has never even HEARD the name of Jesus. They NEED hope. They need JESUS! Our mission was to repent to the Natives on behalf of our ancestors – for forcing religion down their throats, cheating them for their land, breaking promises, and stripping them of their heritage – and in going to the Natives, expecting God to forgive America because of repentant hearts. We went in humility. We chose to listen before acting. It was amazing to see what the LORD did through humility. The LORD opened doors that only He could.

Last year, God touched so many people! It was the beautiful gospel- people were getting saved, healed and delivered! There was so much fruit and many testimonies of God's goodness! One story that truly stands out to me from last year, was a 13 year old Lakota girl named, Megan. Megan was a cutter. She had scars covering her arms and a huge scar on her face that literally went from her temple to her chin! It was so sad. She was only 13!!! So Marco, myself and our intern, Sam, got to minister to her and pray for her. She got totally set free from suicide and cutting! She was filled with hope that night and found out that she had something to live for! Jesus and that she has a future. That same night, as we were canvasing in neighborhoods, we met this young man probley in his 20's. It was like calling the disciples to come follow us, so he did! LOL He went with us to all the houses and helped passing out flyers. That night he was radically healed!! He could not run or move certain parts on the left side of his body. If you watch the "Rolling Thunder" video on Harvestsound.com you will see this guys running... that's him after he was healed!

The best part is, we have been given the opportunity to go back and reconnect with the Natives that we met last year. We will be embarking on our second trek across the northwest ministering to the Natives. Sole for Souls donated over 1300lbs of shoes for the Lakota people! It's incredible. Nikes, crocs, the best of the best shoes were given to pass out to our friends.

Our WHOLE team will need your prayers, and Marco and I could also really use your support…as we are missionaries in the inner city – ministering to the homeless, the community, and fatherless kids, we work on a staff volunteer basis. While we are gone we do have expenses we need to cover on our home front and will need the funds to go on the trip as well…to pay for our meals, the bus, and other expenses. We encourage you, if you have a heart for our ministry or for what we will be doing this summer, to please pray and donate to the cause. I KNOW the LORD has called us to this lifestyle, at this point indefinitely…all to say, we would appreciate your support more than you know! As you sow into us and this ministry, the blessing doesn’t stop there…you also reap in the harvest we are collecting for Jesus!

To send us a tax-deductible donation or a letter, (I love receiving letters too) you can mail it to:

So MANY people have been asking- are you guys working on any music???? Well this is what is going on! Marco is currently working on a mixtape and album which the release date is uncertain as he has been so busy doing other things. Those other things consist of him working on Blood Bought Media. He was become an amazing graphic designer, t-shirt designer and maker, video and web man! Also since last July, Harvest Sound – the record label through Provision International – released our 2nd devotional album titled, “Serenity.” If you would like to order the CD, please let me know! I am on a couple songs. We are now currently working on the 3rd devotional album titled “Eternity.” I had the opportunity to record on two songs for this album. We are also simultaneously working on a spontaneous - jazz - worship album, that I was asked to sing for, AND a spontaneous worship album! I am REALLY excited for this live worship album! It will have one of my own original songs from a live recording PLUS lots of spontaneous songs with some amazing features including: Todd Gonavski, Phil LaRue, Jeff Whately and all of our awesome interns!!! So as you can tell, A LOT is happening creatively around here…it is SO exciting! OH, and I can’t leave out the fact that the Foundry also offers a creative arts and evangelism school, Thunder School, from September – December and this is what we will be gearing up for right after we return from Rolling Thunder.... AND ALWAYS check our website to see what we have coming up…such as CD releases, conferences, and worship nights…www.harvestsound.com!

Also be on the look out!!! Marco is currently working on our new website for BLOOD BOUGHT ENT! It will be so awesome when it's done! The address is bloodboughtent.com! Marco also made some amazing BLOOD BOUGHT T-SHIRTS! If you are interested in getting one let me know! They are shown in the last picture and are SO amazing! They are $10-$15 :-)

Thank you again so much for all your love, support and prayers! Marco and I are so blessed to have such loyal and faithful friends and family. You mean the world to us! Here are some cool pics from Rolling Thunder 09 and the last couple of months! If you have and questions or comments, please email me or write! I would love to talk to you!!!!

Blessings and Talk to you soon!!!!! Love,
Natalie Villalobos

Here are some pics of last year's Rolling Thunder and over the last couple of months :-)

This is Megan, the girl from my story, me, and Rachel.

Marco praying with a Lakota boy as he gave his heart to Jesus!

Marco had witnessed these 3 Natives get into a fight, so he jumped out of the moving bus to go talk to them and help the girl as she was bleeding. To make a long story short, the guys who beat them came back and Marco was a peacemaker and they all reconciled. The two men in this picture actually came to our outreach and got filled with the Holy Spirit and delivered!

Marco working on a car.... LOL!

Me and Vanessa, a Lakota girl, from an outreach! So sweet!

April 2010!

Wow...... April 2010!!!!

Marco "Oracle", with Chris Chicago praying for the artists and Hype Radio Fest Event!

What a crazy, amazing month April has been! Our team has worked so hard! I am so proud of them... not to mention my amazing husband, Marco! I am one lucky woman :-) Well, this month started with Good Friday and Easter of course! Which was awesome! We had a church BBQ on Easter that followed with some crazy guy volleyball, which I made sure to stay away from! lol If you know what I mean.... Then, we had our first ever "Diamonds Conference"! It was a conference all about saving children, the diamonds. Heidi Baker, Angela Greenig, and MacLeods spoke and it was SO good! I got to lead worship for it and it was such an honor! Seriously, the harvest is all about the children! Did you know that over half the world's population is under the age of 15? AND I forgot the % BUT most of these children live in crazy, horrible poverty!!! That's our harvest :-)
So then let's see... oh yes! Then we had a music conference here at The Foundry, Indie Heaven. It was awesome full of artists and good workshops, then followed by this last week which was GMA week and the Dove awards in Nashville... if you don't know what GMA is, I suggest a good book, "Snakes in the Lobby" by Pastor Scott MacLeod. It will rock your world! GMA stands for the Gospel Music Association. This is a very important week in the Christian music industry. Artists, labels, promoters, managers and etc. come all over to Nashville to attend events and workshops during the week which is followed by the Dove Awards. Well for the first time in over 15 years, the GMA Week was canceled this year!!! Craziest thing ever! God is totally making over the Christian music industry and it's so awesome, it will have to be another blog.... So since the GMA week events were canceled we decided to invite all the artists that still came into town to do a major outreach and use our gifts to reach communites!!! So we also were hosting lots of anointed, talented musicians and bands this last week! It was awesome! We love Extreme Tour and SOG Crew! So to conclude this crazy month, we had one of the biggest and best outreaches ever on Clinton Street to reach out to our community with all of our special musicians and friends. It was an incredible way to end our month! Check out some of our pics! There were so many salvations and people getting touched by the presence of God! These are all people in our neighborhood and all our volunteers were just melting! It was so beautiful! The outreach was held right on our parking lot... We live in the heart of downtown Nashville between two projects, Jo Johnston and Andrew Jackson Projects.... Check it out....

My first official text message to Blogger!

Thursday, February 25, 2010

Welcome!!!

Welcome Family and Friends!!!

Marco and I are so excited to be able to share our lives with you all through blogging! This is really a new thing for me! lol We wanted an easy and interactive way to stay connected with all of you that we love SO much! Life gets so busy, we hope these blogs find you encouraged and connected! So, I promise to try to update this blog as much as I can to stay in touch!!

Well if you are coming to our blog, you probley know who we are and what we do..... but if you don't here is your opportunity to find out! First of all, we are crazy, Jesus-loving freaks! Second of all, we are a head-over-heels in love married couple. We have been going strong now for over four years! Our anniversary is September 10 :-) Third, we live in the hood of Nashville, TN as musicionaries! Yep! You heard me right, the hood! We are surrounded by project apartments and we are Community Pastors at Provision International. We help direct Thunder School, the Thunder Internship, the media, creative arts and worship departments. It's like this: more than a musician + also a missionary = musicionary.

So, with all that outta the way some of you might be wondering what in the world we have been doing.... Well to start with, I cannot believe it is 2010! We are going on our third year here as musicionaries at Provision International. God has been so faithful! He is doing wonderful things and I know that He is going to continue to do so this year! 2009 was awesome! Some highlights for us last year was hosting a teenage Thunder School camp, traveling to the northern states to minister, and just completing our 3 month discipleship school in December, Thunder School. Also in 2009, I was priviledged to sing on a devotional CD released by Harvest Sound titled rightfully so, "Serenity". It is an incredible devotional with all of the 2009 interns. If you need peace in your crazy, chaotic life- pick up this cd! Now we are helping direct an Internship for students that have completed Thunder School. Last year we had 9 interns, this year we have almost doubled and have 17! It is incredible to watch these students be transform by the love and power of God!

It truly has been on honor to serve as missionaries for the last two years. We want to thank you all for your love, prayer and support as we have been on this faith journey. I cannot even begin to tell you all the changes and miracles that we have seen not only in our own lives but the lives of those around us. I'm excited about the opportunity and experiences that are ahead this year. We are getting ready to host a College missions trip in March, host two conferences in April and May, start our second ever Thunder Camp in June, our second ever Rolling Thunder in July, and our fourth Thunder School in September! It is going to be an exciting year! It's amazing the lives that are changed with in just one week- it's so beautiful! As you can imagine, being missionaries like this requires financial and prayer support from a number of people. Marco and I have both been working part time jobs while living on campus at Provision, while directing an internship, and being community pastors. I guess you could say we have our plate a little full! Our jobs have been very shakey over the last month and I am being laid off in March, as where Marco's job is coming to a complete stop. It has brought us to this point of where we are asking for any type of support- financial, love and of course prayer! We are so grateful for anything you sow into us. Thank you for loving, supporting and believing in us!

If you would like to be part of this mission through your financial support, please send a check to: 1419 Clinton Street, Nashville, TN 37203. Please make your check payable to Provision International and write our names, Marco and Natalie Villalobos, in the memo line.

While money is important, it comes in a distant second for our need of prayer support. Please pray for wisdom, guidance, provision, our Pastors Scott and Sarah MacLeod, our team of interns, our families.... it's SO appreciated! Your prayers, love, and support has helped be successful since 2008 and we are so grateful! Thank you for believing in us and what God has called us to do! We also want you hear from you guys!! How can we pray for you? Is there any way we can partner up to see your fullest potential in Christ or get to your dreams? We hope this blog will encourage you to continue to lay down your life as a disciple of Christ, run after your dreams, love everyone that comes into your path, and most importantly, continue to fall in love with Jesus more and more! May the Lord bless you and keep you!

Love with all our hearts!
Marco and Natalie
